Advanced settings:

Advanced settings are for video compression and audio compression and data rates.  As of January 10, 2001, these are the settings of choice. Settings and codecs will depend on your own computer, its audio and video capture card/device, so experiment for the best broadcast on your computer.

All video compression codecs and schemes appear to work well with the EnterVision Broadcasting systems. Full frames uncompressed is good for low movement. While the other codecs do a good job on high motion. This includes Cinepak and Indeo.

From the audio side, the following codecs work with the broadcaster: Lerount & Hauspie, PCM and CCITT. All must be using 16 bit mono. We will be adding more audio codecs shortly.

The audio input into your computer is also an important setting. Normally it is suggested that the input on your computers audio volume control setting be set at 1 (the lowest notch). If the sound is too loud it will be distorted. Audio, like video, is open to experimentation. If you find that a particular setting or group of settings is unique in any way, please drop us a line and we will share it with the enture EnterVision Broadcaster community.
