Working with Drawing Objects |

BVTech Plasmid provides many drawing objects, includs lines, arrows, rectangles, circles, and text boxes. Drawing objects can be used for general annotation or to add extra labels to a map.
1. | Select a draw object on the toolbar, e.g. ![]() |
2. | Draw the object on the page using the left mouse button. |
3. | Modify the object, e.g. for text object, you need to type in the text box, then hit "enter" to accept the iuput. |
1. | Select the drawing object you want to remove using the left mouse button. |
2. | Press the Delete key on your keyboard. If you want to undo the delete, select menu Edit|Undo Delete. |
Change the properties in a drawing object
To change properties of a drawing object, simply double click on the object you want to change. Then enter new settings on the Property Dialog
Group and ungroup drawing objects

Select the toolbar icon ![]() |
2. | Draw a rectangle to include all objects you want to group |
3. | Right click on the rectangle, then select menu group. If you want to ungroup, select the ungroup menu. |
Move and resize a drawing object
1. | To move a drawing object, simply select it
with the left mouse button and drag it to its new position on the page. Alternatively, you can use arrow keys to move a selected drawing object. |
2. | To resize a drawing object, select it with the left mouse button and drag the resize handles on any corner of the selection box that appears. |
