Quick Start

1. Download the software：
   Active Messager Server
   Active Messager Client
2. Install Active Messager Server (AMS).
   Notice: Active Messager Server is a Windows Service program , can only run on Windows NT4.0, Window2000, Windows XP, Windows95/98 is not supported. Active Messager Client runs on windows 95/98, NT, 2000, XP as well.
3. Run the Wizard to configure the Active Messager Server.
   (1) Configure database for AMS;
   (2) Import users with users import wizard, this wizard will let you all computer name as login name for AMS.
   Notice: if it failed to connect to the database, please ensures that MDAC is installed in the computer where AMS is installed, if not, download it form www.activesoft.com.cn/ActiveMessager/Download/MDAC.EXE
4. Start the Active Messager Server;
5. Install Active Messager Client in client computers;
6. Input Server Name, Login Name and Password, login in;
7. Select a user online, input text, and send it.
