Summary
IPVerify is a program that let's you choose a list of host names, and matches for those host names. These matches can be verified when IPVerify is started, or when Verify is chosen from the Tray Icon Menu, or when the Tray Icon is double clicked. Notifications will be sent if any matches fail to match
Settings
Host Names and Matches
Host Names

Add - This will bring up the Add Host Name window, shown here on the right. This is where you enter a Host Name to be matched with something else.
Remove - Select a Host Name and click this button to remove it from the list. This will NOT remove any Matches associated with this Entry. The Matches will just fail.
Clicking on a Host Name - This will show the selected Host Name, as well as the current IP just below the Host Names List.
Note: If your Host Name list is currently empty, your computer name will be conveniently added to the host list.
Host Name Matches

Add - This will bring up the Add Host Match window, shown here on the right. This is where you select two host names to be matched.
Remove - Select a Host Name Match and click this button to remove it from the list.
Example: The current match of ndavies <--> ndavies.dhs.org, signifies that the host names ndavies and ndavies.dhs.org will be checked when IPVerify is run.
Notification
Notification Options

Always Notify - When Always Notify is checked, IPVerify will send out the selected notifications types for all the Host Matches
Include Matches - When Include Matches is checked, IPVerify will include all matches, but will only notify when there is at least one failure.
Verify On Startup - When Notify On Startup is checked, IPVerify will Check the list of matches when it is first run. This is useful if you want IPVerify to Load On Startup and Verify your matches without any other involvement.
Email Notification Options

Notify - When this Notify is checked, Email will be sent for Notification
Email Address - Email Notification will be sent to this address
SMTP Server - Email Notification will use this SMTP Server to send the Notification. Ask your ISP's customer service if you are unsure about this value
Use HTML - When Use HTML is checked, Email Notification will be sent using HTML
Log File Notification Options

Notify - When this Notify is checked, A Log File will be generated for Notification
File Name - Log File Notification will use this filename(and path) to send the Notification. A good place to put this file is right on your desktop, so that it can be easily accessed.
Delete Log File When All Match - When this is checked, the Log File(specified in File Name above) will be deleted when All Matches are Successful. This works well when the Log File is located on the desktop, because if the file is there, you know there is a Failed Match Attempt
Message Box Notification Options

Notify - When this Notify is checked, a Message Box will pop up for Notification
