Desktop Lock Express is a security software that can lock your screen to prevent people from accessing your computer. It is one of the Desktop Lock family, which provides the major features of Desktop Lock but decrease its size to about 40KB. Desktop Lock Express can be used directly without the need of installing, all features have been included in the single exe file. Desktop Lock Express can safely lock the screen under Windows XP/2000 as well as Windows98/ME.
NOTE: Desktop Lock Express doesn't supports Windows NT, if you want to use this software under WinNT, please request a customized version from us.
Just extract the ZIP file you downloaded to any folder on your computer, then you can launch the main exe file DTLEP.EXE to lock the screen. the default password has been set to empty (blank) so you can click the "Unlock" button to unlock the screen directly. You can click the "Options" button to change the password.
before you click the Unlock button or Options button to unlock the screen or modify its settings, you must first input the correct password if you have set a password to it.
You also can create a shortcut icon to the main exe file and put the shortcut icon on the desktop.
NOTE: The software will automatically extract required files to system folder, all the files has been included in the main exe file.
