Disable Autocomplete for Passwords.

When you visit a page and write a password in this page, the browser will ask you if you want to save this password in its passwords list. If you click yes the password will be saved and it will be filled in automatically next time you visit this page.  Just type in the first characters and the AutoComplete for passwords will present you with a drop-down box with the appropriate choices to choose from.

If you don't want any help to remember your passwords and you want to disable the AutoComplete feature, open the Internet Options from the Tools menu in IE. Under the Content tab, click AutoComplete. Uncheck the option to use AutoComplete for User names and passwords on forms. If you want to delete all the stored passwords click the "Clear Passwords" button.

If you want to delete only one or more of the stored options in the drop-down box simply highlight the entry you want to delete (don't click on it) and hit the Delete key on your keyboard.
