TRACKER & SONG YOU CHOSE TO COVER & WHY:
Cadaver & Metal Within 3. Basically, I chose
this one because it has genius melody behind it, but has worn out in time. I
figured that it needed to be arranged, and this disk was just announced. And as
Cadaver himself rarely covers his older releases, and I though this one needed
it, so I made it. Of course, it's nowhere near "Cadaver standards" I think I
managed to do a nice job.
YEARS TRACKING:
About 6, give or take few months.
INSTRUMENTS PLAYED?: None
FAVORITE GENRE OF MUSIC & WHY:
I really can't turn to anything specific
here. My wide range contains jazz, classical, metal, blues, swing, video game
music, rock... In almost every genre of music there are some masterpieces.
Expect techno crap.
MOST DESPISED GENRE OF MUSIC & WHY:
All electronical music. (Techno and dance)
It's too commercial, and melodies are too simple.
FAVORITE REAL BAND & WHY:
And again, there is no single one.
MOST DESPISED BAND & WHY:
No single one.
FAVORITE TRACKER & WHY: Probably
Claymore, for his talent at classical composition, and of course for the fact
that he provides those awesome instruments for us others to use.
FAVORITE INSTRUMENT & WHY: Piano. It's
sound can be so beautiful. It is so versatile, fitting perfectly in so many
different music genres. And even with one piano you can play so complex and
wonderful music.
DO YOU RATE/REVIEW SONGS ON METALLURKY? IF NOT, WHY?:
Randomly. So far I think I have written 3
reviews. I only review stuff that are interesting.
IF YOU COULD CHANGE ONE THING ABOUT THE SCENE, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
Well, it would be nice if there were a easier
way to get a hold on better instruments. I say this as a non guitar player, it's
damn hard to get quality guitars, for example. GOOD always online file storage
would be good. Like MCFTP back in the days.
FRIZZLEFRIED'S THOUGHTS:
Jesus...we
are going WAY back with this original tune from Cadaver. Even back
then you could see the tracking talent that Cadaver was to become. Kilu's
remake is both good and bad to me. It definately has the sound
quality. The guitarsound has improved 10x....but the mixing surely
needs some work. I can't hear the snaredrum hardly at all. The song
feels as if is missings SOMETHING. Had Kilu added a vocal track to
this song, I feel things would have felt much more "finished". As it
stands...it is certainly an improvement on sound...
