WHAT HARDWARE DO YOU USE TO CREATE YOUR MUSIC/SAMPLES? AMD Duron 1,2GHz, 256Mb RAM, 20Gb HD with a crappy integral soundcard. However, I'll have a brand new computer with a good soundcard at the time you're reading this.

WHAT SOFTWARE DO YOU USE TO CREATE YOUR MUSIC/SAMPLES? Modplug Tracker to track the drums, Revalver to record my guitar and bass, Goldwave to do simple sample editing work and Cubase SX for mixing and putting all the bits and pieces together. I suppose you can hardly call my songs mods anymore.

WHY DO YOU ENJOY TRACKING/MAKING MUSIC? It's an incredibly rewarding feeling when you've finished a song you think is great. Making music takes my mind away from the shitty things of life. So basically I'm making music for myself, but of course it's always even better if other people enjoy the music too.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE GENRE(S) OF MUSIC? I don't have one specific favorite. I'd rather just list a few favorite bands/artists of mine, it gives you a better idea of what I'm into (in no particular order): Manowar, Six Feet Under, Iron Maiden, Primus, Slayer, Cryptopsy, Cannibal Corpse, Megadeth, AC/DC, Rammstein, Metallica, Faith No More, Alice Cooper, Ennio Morricone... and I've also been listening to The Beatles and Paul McCartney's solo albums recently. Isn't that shocking?

WHAT PART OF MAKING MUSIC DO YOU FEEL YOU DO BEST? I'm a guitarist, so I suppose I'm good at making up riffs... or something, I dunno.

WHAT PART OF MAKING MUSIC DO YOU FEEL YOU NEED TO IMPROVE ON? Mixing. You can never learn enough about mixing. Thankfully that's exactly what I'm studying at school right now. And I'm getting better at it each day.
