Zephyr is a distributed messaging system. It is sort of an X version of the "write" utility which doesn't require you to know what machine your party is logged into. It is somewhat simlilar in spirit to "winpopup". If you are planning to write your own programs that use the Zephyr messaging system, you will want this package.
