Please explain a little about yourself: Right now I'm about 19 years old and I don't really do much on my spare time
but study, since I'm at school, or see my girlfriend. I live in Sweden, and
this fall (-02), hopefully I will start studying at a university, to become
a physics engineer :-). Apart from that I like playing music, track and go
bowling! I'm basically a drummer, but I don't really play that much at the
time, I play bass and guitar more.
Do you play any real instruments? I play drums, bass and some guitar.
If so, for how long? I've been playing drums for ~4-5 years, but I
haven't actually practiced much the last 2 of them. So I'm not developing any
more :-) I've played bass for maybe 6-7 years, but I've also had some breaks so
I have not been playing continuously all the time. It's been more playing the
last 2 years. And for guitar, maybe 3 years, but not seriously at all. Just
enough to know the basics, to be able to play some metal songs and record
guitars for my Mod's.
Please explain how you discovered the metalmod scene:
The first "contact" with metal mods was listening to Betrayers good ol' Metallica-mods
at a friends place, with his AMIGA 500. But it wasn't until several years
later I discovered the metalmod scene on the internet, and I don't remember
when exactly. Anyway I started tracking and I believe the first metal mod
I really released was "fuel" by Metallica, which became "metal mod of the
week" at Frizzlefried's homepage :-)
What is your opinion on what the metalmod scene has
become? Hard question for me to answer, I haven't really been around as much as I'd
like to the past few years. I think there's a lack of good tracked covers,
there is still none who beats Betrayer ;-)
What are your future plans in regards to metal tracking
and the metalmod scene in general? After having a period of very little tracking, I'd like to consider me as
back in business :-) I've got some plans about making
