   Description: A paint program and image processor.
		 Notes:
		
This program is a paint program that is aimed mainly for making
of artistic pictures. It is not very good (yet) at technical drawing or
presentation graphics. This version is the first public release.
The source code will be available after I have had time to clean
it up a little bit and add some comments into it. This version is
freeware.

  To install the program do the following things:

		1. copy the ArtPaint.tgz file to your hard disk
		2. open a terminal
		3. go to the directory where Artpaint.tgz is
		4. type: gunzip ArtPaint.tgz
		5. type: tar xvf ArtPaint.tar
		6. type: cd ArtPaint
		7. type: setfile ArtPaint
		
  After these steps you should be able to start the program. For more
information on how to use the program see the documentation that is
included in the package. If you are a BeBox owner read especially the
part about the controller.

  Here are my future plans for this program:


		- Add some more features
		- Clean up the source-code
		- Release a new (bug free?!) version + source code
		- Start a complete rewrite and make it into a real program
		- Release a new version at the end of 1997 (shareware or commercial)
